We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, a passion for guest services, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
- Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently while ensuring accuracy in guest information.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
- Maintain knowledge of hotel services, local attractions, and events to provide guests with relevant information.
- Operate phone systems to manage incoming calls and assist guests as needed.
- Process reservations and cancellations through various booking platforms.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Uphold hotel policies and procedures while maintaining confidentiality of guest information.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest satisfaction.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse guests.
- Proficient in using front desk software and phone systems; experience with property management systems is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work well under pressure in a team-oriented environment.
