Japanese Village West Edmonton Mall location is now accepting applications for
2x full-time kitchen positions to be trained to work as a Teppan-yaki Cook
2x part-time dishwasher position
Teppan-yaki cooking consists of preparing meals on a flat top grill right in front of the customer with showmanship and flair. Customers refer to the experience as a "meal and a show", "the chef's table", and "where the chefs cook right in front of you". Typical Teppan-yaki meals include steak, seafood, chicken, and vegetables. Part of the showmanship includes juggling cooking utensils, fast and intricate knife work, and telling jokes while cooking.
Although preferred, no experience is necessary. All trainee's are trained meticulously in house.
Posted wage earnings do not include gratuity earnings which amount to an additional $2-$11 an hour depending on your experience and tenure.
