We are locally owned and operated and take great pride in serving our community's appliance needs! We are currently looking for an experienced warehouse worker to join our team!
Priority Objectives:
- Maintain and protect inventory in the warehouse.
- Maintain cleanliness in and out of the building
- Receive and release inventory according to company procedures.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Receive shipments from Retail, Service and Commercial Department
- Perform daily cleaning duties as assigned by management.
- Insure that all damages on inventory being received are documented according to warehouse procedures.
- Maintain the warehouse by insuring it is kept a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
- Assist the Delivery Workers in loading delivery trucks when needed.
- Handle all customer pickups in the warehouse.
- Perform inventory accounts as instructed by management.
- Maintain cleanliness of unboxed appliance ready for sale or sold in the warehouse
Expectations:
- Work in a manner that is consistent with the organization’s stated values.
- Cooperate with Sales and other Associates with inventory questions or concerns.
- Report issues to management.
- Maintain a positive attitude.
This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking & standing.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour
