We are seeking an energetic and attentive Server to join our vibrant food service team. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive seating assistance as a host/hostess when needed
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and maximize sales opportunities
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring overall satisfaction with their dining experience
- Handle cash transactions accurately through POS systems, including cash handling and basic math calculations
- Maintain sanitation standards by adhering to food safety protocols, proper food handling procedures, and sanitation practices in all areas of service
Experience
- Previous restaurant experience in a food service environment is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or upscale establishments
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong knowledge of the food industry, including food preparation, sanitation, and food safety regulations
- Proven ability to manage time effectively during busy service hours while maintaining a positive attitude
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Familiarity with OpenTable for reservations management is a plus
- Experience in nightclub or high-volume serving environments is beneficial but not required
