Role Overview
This is a full-time, field-based sales role focused on driving new business and growing a territory within the commercial cleaning, sanitation, and facility supply sector. You will leverage your industry knowledge and relationships to win new accounts, convert competitor business, and build a long-term, high-value book of business.
Requirements
- 3+ years of B2B outside sales or territory management experience
- Proven track record in new business development (“hunter” sales)
- Experience selling into commercial, industrial, healthcare, hospitality, or facility environments
- Strong understanding of pricing, margins, and value-based selling
- Comfortable engaging with decision-makers and senior stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of a territory
- Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel throughout the Lower Mainland
Nice-to-Haves
- Direct experience in janitorial, sanitation, chemical, or distribution sales
- Existing relationships within hospitality groups, care homes, or facilities management
- Experience competing against or converting large national accounts
- Bilingual (asset)
Responsibilities
- Identify, target, and win new business across commercial and institutional accounts
- Actively pursue competitor accounts and expand into new verticals
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline with long-term opportunities
- Conduct in-person meetings, site assessments, and solution presentations
- Negotiate pricing and structure deals based on margin and long-term value
- Maintain and grow existing accounts to ensure retention and incremental growth
- Represent the business professionally in client-facing and networking settings
- Maintain accurate tracking of pipeline, revenue, and account performance

Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $70,000 – $80,000
- Commission: 10–15% of gross margin on new business (Year 1), plus ongoing retention earnings
- Expected earnings (first 1–2 years): $80,000 – $100,000+
- Long-term earnings: $100,000+ as accounts mature
- Monthly vehicle allowance: $800
