Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to lead our store operations and ensure an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, retail management expertise, and excellent communication abilities. Preference will be given to experience in the seafood industry. This role offers an opportunity to oversee daily store activities, manage staff, and drive sales growth in a fast-paced retail environment. Prior supervisory experience are highly valued.
Duties
- Supervise daily store operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to company policies
- Lead, motivate, and develop retail staff through effective training and performance management
- Oversee merchandising strategies to optimize product placement and presentation
- Manage inventory purchasing, pricing strategies, and stock replenishment to meet sales targets
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Conduct recruiting efforts including interviewing potential employees and onboarding new team members
- Oversee payroll processing, cash handling, and bookkeeping tasks with accuracy
- Utilize POS systems for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges efficiently
- Implement marketing initiatives to increase store visibility and sales performance
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the store environment
Requirements
- Proven supervising or retail management experience with a track record of leadership success
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Proficiency in POS systems, merchandising, pricing strategies, and cash handling procedures
- Knowledge of budgeting, bookkeeping, payroll processing, and administrative tasks
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate with vendors and manage purchasing activities
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team setting
- High level of time management skills with the capacity to prioritize tasks efficiently

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
