Journeyman Electrician (309A) – Lead Service & Commercial Electrician

PTI Electric Inc. is a growing electrical contractor serving Greater Sudbury with a focus on residential service work, commercial fit-ups, and industrial/mining support projects. We are looking for a motivated and dependable 309A Journeyman Electrician to take a lead role in our growing service and commercial division.
This position is ideal for someone who is confident running jobs independently, communicating with customers, coordinating work on site, and looking for long-term growth within a developing company.
Responsibilities
- Independently run residential service calls and small projects
- Lead commercial installations including lighting, power, and controls
- Read drawings and layouts
- Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and other trades
- Assist with job planning, material takeoffs, and estimating
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and complete final commissioning
Current Work Includes
- Residential service upgrades and troubleshooting
- Commercial tenant fit-ups and lighting projects
- Industrial/mining-related support work
- Ongoing project-based electrical work
Qualifications
- Licensed 309A Electrician
- Strong troubleshooting and installation experience
- Able to work independently and manage projects from start to finish
- Experience with conduit, layouts, and finishing work
- Valid driver’s license and clean work ethic
- Strong communication and organizational skills
