About the Role
Our client is hiring General Laboure's to assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of docks, boat lifts, and marine railway systems. This is a physical, outdoor job for someone who enjoys hands on work and being near the water.
Duties
- Assist with dock, boat lift, and marine railway work
- Lift metal frames and heavy materials as a team (100+ lbs)
- Use ratchets, wrenches, drills, and basic tools
- General labour and on site support
Requirements
- Able to lift 100+ lbs as a team
- Good tool knowledge (ratchets, wrenches, drills)
- Strong English comprehension
- Must wear sunscreen
- Reliable transportation to Oro Medonte shop
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather
Assets
- Experience in docks, carpentry, construction, landscaping, or marine work
- Mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills
- Team player with good communication
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am–4:30pm (weather and workload dependent time can change) Temporary position
Pay: $20–$25/hr (DOE)
