Behind all of it sits a large, detailed catalogue of listings, and keeping that catalogue accurate, complete and beautifully organised is what this role is all about.
What the job involves
You'll be the person who keeps our listings in great shape, adding new brokers and brokerages, updating existing ones, and making sure every detail is correct, consistent and easy for borrowers to use. It's careful, satisfying work for someone who genuinely enjoys order and accuracy, and who understands that a single wrong phone number or mislabelled neighbourhood is a small thing that matters a lot.
A typical week might include
- Adding new brokers and brokerages to our directory with all their details filled in correctly
- Updating listings as firms change their services, rates, contact details or availability
- Sorting listings into the right categories, neighbourhoods and specialties so borrowers can find them easily
- Checking information against brokers' own websites and socials, and flagging anything that doesn't add up
- Tidying inconsistencies, removing duplicates and keeping our formatting uniform
- Keeping a simple record of what you've worked on
You'll do well here if you are
- Naturally precise, the kind of person who spots the typo everyone else scrolled past
- Patient and consistent across work that's detailed and sometimes repetitive
- Trustworthy and independent, able to work through a list without someone checking over your shoulder
- A close reader who follows instructions exactly as they're written
- At ease with spreadsheets and a bit of online digging
- Upfront when something's unclear. We'd always rather you ask than guess
A few things that would be a bonus
- Past experience in data entry, admin, virtual assistance or research
- A soft spot for (or background in) mortgages, real estate, lending or finance
- Confidence with spreadsheets, listing tools or simple content systems
