Carpenter / Skilled Labourer - Residential Renovations
Carbery Construction is a growing residential renovation company serving Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, and the surrounding area. We specialize in high-end kitchens, bathrooms, basements, additions, and full-home remodels.
We are currently looking for a Carpenter / Skilled Labourer to join our team.
This position offers a wide variety of work across all aspects of residential renovations. From demolition and framing to trim, cabinetry, flooring, and finishing work, successful applicants should enjoy learning new skills and taking pride in quality craftsmanship.
Responsibilities
Depending on experience, duties may include:
- Demolition and site preparation
- Framing and structural carpentry
- Installation of doors, trim, and finish carpentry
- Cabinet and millwork installation
- Flooring installation
- Tile preparation and installation assistance
- General renovation and construction tasks
- Site cleanup and organization
- Assisting other trades and team members as required
Requirements
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
- Own basic hand tools
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Punctual and dependable
Preferred Qualifications
- Residential renovation experience
- Carpentry experience
- Knowledge of common construction tools and practices
- Experience with trim, cabinetry, flooring, tile, or drywall is considered an asset
