Overview
We are looking for a Truck Driver to deliver our flowers to customers from our greenhouses to the Lower Mainland. Driver must be physically able to push our full flower wagons into and out of truck. 3 days/week from 5-10 hrs/day depending on season
Duties
- Safely operate heavy trucks and commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Load and unload flower wagons and pallets, ensuring proper handling of goods and securement during transit
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and delivery documentation
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding delivery schedules and issues
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during operations
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly
- Assist with loading or unloading when necessary, including heavy lifting of cargo
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) (Class 1) with appropriate endorsements for the vehicle type
- 2 years experience driving heavy trucks or commercial vehicles
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when required, including loading and unloading cargo
- Strong driving skills with a clean driving record
- Excellent knowledge of traffic laws, safety procedures, and route planning
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Good communication skills and professionalism in interactions with clients and team members
- Physical ability to handle long hours on the road, including the capacity for heavy lifting when needed

Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
