Job Overview:
Serene Landscaping is seeking a full-time Skilled Hardscaper to join our team. As a Hardscaper, you will be responsible for constructing and installing various hardscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and outdoor living spaces from start to finish. This is a hands-on position that requires expertise in grading, stone/ tile laying, carpentry, concrete finishing, and the ability to read and interpret schematics
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of hard landscaping
- Proven ability to manage projects from planning to completion
- Experience operating skid steer, excavator, backhoe, and loader
- Ability to read civil, architectural, and landscape drawings
- Valid Class 5 license with driver’s abstract and reliable transportation
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Landscape diploma/certificate considered an asset
Responsabilities:
- Interlock Installation: Prepare and install interlocking stone, pavers, and retaining walls according to design specifications.
- Site Preparation: Oversee excavation, base preparation, grading, and compaction to ensure proper foundation for interlock projects.
- Project Planning & Execution: Read and interpret blueprints, manage material orders, and oversee job progress to meet deadlines and quality expectations.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate skid steers, excavators, compactors, and other relevant machinery.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished projects to ensure precision, durability, and client satisfaction.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve on-site challenges to keep projects on track.
- Client Interaction: Maintain professionalism and communicate effectively with clients to address concerns and provide project updates.
- Safety Compliance: Follow safety procedures and regulations at all times.

Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour
