We are seeking reliable and compassionate Female Home Care Support Workers to assist clients in Edgemont, NW, Calgary. Work hours will be 9 to 10:30 in the morning and 5:30 to 7 in the evening, every Saturday and Sunday. Ideally, we would like a care worker who lives in the NW area, as it makes it easier to provide care to the client.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Light housekeeping and meal preparation
- Medication reminders (no administration)
- Companionship and emotional support
- Accurate documentation of care provided
Qualifications
- Previous home care, healthcare aide, or caregiving experience preferred
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Strong communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Criminal record check (required)
- CPR/First Aid certification (required)
- Must speak either English, Punjabi, Hindi or Urdu
