We are currently seeking a reliable full-time Live-in Superintendent for one of our residential properties located in Downtown Halifax. A live-in 2Bd apartment and additional benefits are included as part of the compensation package.
Responsibilities include:
- General maintenance and repairs within common areas and residential units
- Painting, drywall, general carpentry and repairs
- Minor plumbing and basic electrical troubleshooting
- Ongoing building upkeep including cleaning, lawn care, minor snow clearing and general property monitoring
- Reasonable after-hours emergency response and general live-in operational presence
- Working closely with property management to maintain building operations
Qualifications:
- Previous maintenance, construction, labour or residential building experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and responsibly
- Reliable, punctual and organized
- Positive attitude and good communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and prioritize tasks
- Clear criminal background check required
Compensation:
- Salary plus monthly responsibility allowance
- Live-in 2Bd apartment included
