Overview
We are seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join our team as General Labourers for one of our client in Pickering, ON for shift Timings 3 AM to 8:30 AM. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic work environment. The position involves supporting various operational tasks across different departments, ensuring smooth workflow and maintaining safety standards. Candidates should be prepared to work in a fast-paced setting, demonstrating flexibility and a strong work ethic.
Duties
- Assist with loading and unloading materials, supplies, and equipment
- Support the setup and cleanup of work areas for various projects
- Perform basic manual tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving items as directed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work site to ensure safety compliance
- Operate basic tools and equipment under supervision
- Follow safety protocols and report any hazards or concerns promptly
- Collaborate with team members to complete assigned tasks efficiently and effectively
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to safety procedures and guidelines
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude are essential
- Previous experience in general labour or construction is a plus but not required
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to work flexible hours as needed
