Position Overview:
Hire Labour is seeking dependable and detail-oriented Packaging Associates for a valued client in Ontario. This role focuses on packaging, quality inspection, and production line support.
Key Responsibilities
- Package finished products according to client specifications and quality standards
- Inspect products for defects, damage, or inconsistencies before packaging Label, seal, and prepare packages for shipment Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work station
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
- Communicate daily with client representatives in Spanish and English to coordinate workflow, confirm packaging specifications, and report on production progress
- Assist with inventory counts, material handling, and light warehouse duties as directed
- Meet daily production targets while maintaining quality standards
Requirements
Must-Have:
- Legally authorized to work in Canada (Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or valid Work Permit)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks Reliable attendance and punctuality Steel-toed safety boots (required on-site)
- Reliable transportation to work location.Nice-to-Have:
- Previous packaging, production line, or light manufacturing experience
- Familiarity with quality control or inspection processes.
- Experience working in food processing, consumer goods, or similar environment.
