The Position
We are looking for a reliable, safety-focused Licensed 310T Technician to join our team in Sudbury.
This role is suited to an experienced technician who takes pride in completing work properly, keeping accurate records, and helping equipment return to service safely and efficiently. We are looking for someone dependable who communicates clearly and works well independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain trucks, trailers, and related equipment.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and safety inspections.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, air-brake, and electronic systems.
- Complete repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Identify additional repair requirements and communicate findings clearly.
- Use diagnostic equipment, service information, and technical manuals.
- Complete work orders, inspection reports, and maintenance records accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow company procedures and all applicable health and safety requirements.
- Support other technicians and operational staff when required.
Requirements
- Valid Ontario 310T Truck and Coach Technician Certificate of Qualification.
- Previous experience repairing and maintaining commercial trucks or fleet equipment.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability.
- Working knowledge of diesel engines, air-brake systems, electrical systems, and preventive maintenance.
- Ability to work safely with limited supervision.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean or acceptable driving record.
- Ability to provide your own standard hand tools.
- Reliable attendance and a professional approach to work.
- Ability to complete the physical requirements of the position.
Experience with small engines, light-duty vehicles, pickup trucks, and box trucks is considered an asset.
