Infusion Play and Infusion Edutainment XR Arcade are Victoria's premier interactive entertainment destinations. We offer immersive interactive game rooms, virtual reality experiences, arcade games, team-building activities, birthday parties, and corporate events. Our two locations are only a one-minute walk apart, and all team members work across both venues.
We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and reliable Arcade & Interactive Play Assistant who enjoys working with people of all ages and thrives in a fun, fast-paced environment.
Job Summary
As an Arcade & Interactive Play Assistant, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional guest experience by welcoming visitors, facilitating game play, assisting with events, and ensuring our venues remain clean, organized, and safe. You will work closely with children, families, teens, adults, schools, corporate groups, and community organizations.
This position is ideal for someone who is outgoing, positive, physically active, and passionate about entertainment and hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide outstanding customer service
- Explain games, rules, and venue procedures clearly and confidently
- Assist guests with arcade games, interactive play rooms, and VR experiences
- Monitor gameplay and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout both venues
- Troubleshoot arcade games and basic technical issues when needed
- Handle guest inquiries and reservations professionally
- Process payments and perform accurate cash handling duties
- Serve non-alcoholic beverages and assist with hospitality services
- Support birthday parties, school groups, corporate events, and special programs
- Assist with event setup, venue preparation, and daily opening/closing procedures
- Participate in physical and digital marketing initiatives, including community outreach and promotional events
- Promote company memberships, programs, and special offers
- Uphold all safety procedures and company policies
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications & ExperienceRequired
- Minimum 3 years of customer service experience
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable speaking to individuals and groups of all ages
- Positive, energetic, and professional attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Ability to remain enthusiastic and engaged throughout shifts
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stay active during extended periods
Preferred
- Experience working with children, families, events, camps, recreation programs, or entertainment venues
- Experience in hospitality, food service, guest services, retail, or tourism
- Experience handling cash and POS systems
- Experience with social media, digital marketing, or community outreach
- Basic technical troubleshooting skills
- Public speaking or event hosting experience
