We’re Hiring: Counterbalance Forklift Operator
HR7 Solutions is looking for experienced Counterbalance Forklift Operators to join our client’s warehouse operations in Cobourg, Ontario.
Location: Cobourg, ON
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Night Shift)
Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
Payment: Weekly
Requirements:

✅ Previous warehouse/forklift operating experience
✅ Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work night shifts

Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, and other heavy equipment to load and unload shipments
- Assist with order picking using specialized equipment such as order pickers and load & unload machinery
- Manage warehouse distribution tasks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure mechanical integrity and report any issues promptly
- Support shipping & receiving operations by verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movements accurately
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse layout and improve overall workflow efficiency
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, and other heavy equipment in a warehouse setting
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy machinery maintenance and troubleshooting
- Prior warehouse experience with familiarity in shipping & receiving processes
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on a daily basis
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory control
- Construction or industrial experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with load & unload procedures
- Valid certification for forklift operation; additional certifications such as crane or heavy equipment operation are advantageous
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
