Job Overview
This role serves as the primary land subject matter expert within multidisciplinary project teams and works closely with Project Management, Legal, Regulatory, Construction, and Indigenous Relations teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead landowner engagement, land acquisition, and land access activities for pipeline integrity projects.
- Develop land strategies and identify project risks, constraints, and mitigation plans.
- Manage land budgets, forecasts, and cost estimates.
- Oversee third-party land brokers, appraisers, and consultants.
- Lead complex negotiations and support claims, arbitrations, and legal matters.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of land experience within the energy, pipeline, utility, or infrastructure sectors.
- Experience leading land scope on projects from the owner/operator or in-house side.
- Proven project management, land strategy, and stakeholder management experience.
