Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive Preventive Maintenance Mechanic Technician to join our maintenance team. You will be responsible for the routine upkeep and mechanical integrity of our specialized dairy systems and facility infrastructure to ensure continuous, reliable operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance on the anaerobic digester and modern milking parlor equipment.
- Inspect and service mechanical components, including pumps, motors, gearboxes, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
- Diagnose mechanical faults and perform necessary repairs or component replacements.
- Maintain precise documentation of all service logs and equipment history.
- Ensure all work complies with environmental and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Trade Certification: Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic.
- Experience: Previous experience in industrial or agricultural mechanical maintenance is required. Familiarity with anaerobic digestion or automated dairy systems is a significant asset.
- Technical Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude and trouble abilities.
