Summary
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team at InfernoEnergy in Canada. This pivotal role will oversee timely financial reporting, process and receive payments, forecast cash flow and be responsible for some administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounts payable processing vendor set up, maintenance, receipt and invoice matching, data entry and payment preparation for authorization
- Invoicing and collections client set up, maintenance, invoice creation and distribution once approved, prep and sign statutory declarations[AD1] , sending payment application, collection calls
- Bank and balance sheet reconciliations reconcile, record transactions
- Payroll processing time tracking, preparation, submission once approved, remittance preparation, source deduction payments, ROEs
- General Ledger maintenance account set-up, reconciliation, and analysis, tax remittances, amortization, prepaid management
- Financial reporting balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement
- Budgeting and Cash flow forecasting
- Work in progress / project accounting
- Inventory Tracking – with help from Office Admin/Coordinator
- Year End reporting – prepare documents for accountant, file T4’s, T4A’s, T5018’s, file annual WCB report, etc.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Employee Benefits administration
- Bookkeeping – 403 Holdings
- First draft of employment agreements from templates
- Draft policies from research and templates for review by others, administer human resource policies
- Manage company insurance, WCB coverage, vehicle registration, and other administrative tasks such as compliance software (Complyworks, Avetta)
- Other Officer Manager / Administrative Tasks: Safety / COR, manage Fleet fuel cards, manage company cell phones, manage office cleaning contractor, manage Rogers IoT optimization
Qualifications
- 3+ years of full cycle bookkeeping experience including payroll
- Bachelor of Commerce, or, Bookkeeping Diploma plus 10 years experience
Skills:
- High competency with Excel & Quickbooks Online
- Ability to navigate and use software, including SiteDocs, Knowify, OneDrive/Sharepoint, and Microsoft Word & Excel

Pay: $65,820.29-$127,807.95 per year
