BV USA is a well-established US-based e-commerce company with nearly 20 years of experience selling on Amazon. Our product portfolio includes bike accessories, pet supplies, and security cameras. As part of our continued growth, we are expanding into the Canadian market and opening our first Canadian office. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a founding team that will help shape how our business operates in Canada.
About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and resourceful Operations Assistant to support the launch and day-to-day operations of our new Canadian office. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role that combines office administration, warehouse work, and operational coordination. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is comfortable taking initiative, working independently, and adapting to the evolving needs of a growing branch office.
What You’ll Do
- Manage the daily functions and operations of the new Canadian office
- Handle administrative tasks including scheduling, correspondence, documentation, and reporting
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the Canadian office and the US headquarters
- Assist with warehouse operations during the initial setup phase, including receiving shipments, organizing inventory, and maintaining accurate stock records
- Support warehouse management duties as the Canadian branch gets established
- Assist in coordinating B2B business development efforts in the Canadian security camera market, including supporting outreach to potential commercial clients and business partners
- Assist in recruiting and onboarding future Canadian branch employees, including coordinating interviews, communicating with candidates, and supporting the hiring process
- Handle general operational tasks to ensure the smooth day-to-day functioning of the office
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- At least 1 year of working experience in an administrative, operations, or related role
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities at once
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently and take initiative with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with warehouse management, logistics, or inventory control is an asset
- Bilingual in English and French is considered a strong asset

Job Type: Full-time, onsite
Salary Range: CAD$45,000-$55,000
Location: Our Canadian office location is currently being finalized around Scarborough . The successful candidate should be willing to work on-site and may be consulted during the office selection process.
