In-Home Personal Support Worker / Caregiver (Private Home Care)

Job Type: Part-time / max 5 hrs per day
Pay: $22–$25 per hour (depending on experience)
About the Role:
We are a private family seeking a compassionate, dependable, and friendly **Personal Support Worker / Caregiver** to provide personalized in-home care and support for a loved one. We value trust, kindness, and consistency above all.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care and activities of daily living (e.g., grooming, dressing, mobility support as needed)
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks according to preferences and any dietary needs
- Cook home-style meals (simple to moderate complexity – comfort food, balanced meals)
- Assist with feeding/eating when required (e.g., cutting food, meal prep with salads)
- Perform housekeeping and cleaning (e.g., tidying living areas, laundry, dishes, bathroom/kitchen cleaning to maintain a safe and comfortable home)
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Previous experience as a PSW caregiver, home health aide, or similar role (preferred but not always required – we will train the right person)
-Fast attentive learner
- Reliable, punctual, and honest
- Able to pass a background check
- Comfortable with meal preparation, cooking, and feeding assistance
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions (Fluent English)
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
-Must be reliable and responsible for shifts
