Position Summary
The Senior Project Manager will provide strategic leadership and oversight for residential construction projects while mentoring project staff and collaborating with internal departments, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers. The ideal candidate is a highly organized construction professional with strong leadership skills and extensive experience in residential homebuilding.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution from pre-construction through closeout
- Manage and mentor Project Managers, Coordinators, and project teams
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards
- Monitor financial performance including cost control, forecasting, and reporting
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement solutions to maintain timelines and budgets.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Engineering, Construction Management, Building Technology, Project Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in project management, construction, or a related field.
