We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality service, taking orders, and managing the dining area efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and a commitment to hospitality.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist guests in making informed choices.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining proper presentation standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Assist with food preparation as required, ensuring that all items are prepared according to established recipes and standards.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns promptly.
- Manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently during busy service periods.
Requirements
- Previous restaurant experience is preferred, with a strong background in food service or hospitality.
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Experience in guest services or kitchen operations is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Fluent in English
- Fluent in Korean is bonus but not mandatory
