Responsibilities
- Safely transporting our heavy equipment one location to another utilizing both a low-bed trailer and scissor-neck trailer
- Following all applicable federal and provincial laws and regulations while hauling
- Perform pre-trip inspections of the vehicle and complete basic truck maintenance and repair as required
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
- Load and unload equipment onto the trailer
- Applying for and maintaining load permits using SGI Permit / Roadata
- Other transportation and hauling duties as required
Qualifications
Required
- Must be driven to excel in your position, and improve every day.
- Possess a valid Class 1A driver's license.
- 1 year experience in heavy hauling construction or agricultural equipment.
- 1 year experience in low-bed hauling
- Own transportation & valid driver’s license.
- Willing to work 50+ hours per week.
- Willing to work weekends and holidays as required.
- Be able to drive for long periods of time.
Preferred
- Possession of current safety tickets (first aid, TDG etc.) will be considered an asset. Please include copies of any certificates with your resume.
- Experience using SGI Permit Office / Roadata to obtain permits
