We’re looking for an in-office Accounting Manager in the distribution / industrial supply industry.

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for supporting the Canadian business across accounting, payroll, administration, and compliance while partnering closely with an experienced international CFO. This role will play a key part in the continued scaling of the business.
Finance & Administration Accountant responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting including AP, AR, invoicing, reconciliations, and general ledger
- Support month-end close, accruals, and preparation of financial reporting
- Coordinate payroll processing, CRA remittances, and year-end reporting
- Support employee onboarding, records management, and HR administration
- Assist with local compliance including CRA, GST, and WorkSafeBC requirements
- Liaise with external providers (banks, auditors, payroll, legal) and internal stakeholders
- Support ERP transition and integration and ongoing process improvement
The successful candidate has:
- 5–8 years of hands-on accounting experience
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field (CPA or in progress is an asset)
- Experience with Canadian payroll, CRA remittances, and compliance requirements
- Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and financial reporting
- Experience in a small or growing business environment
- Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working across multiple functions
Compensation and benefits:
- The discussed salary range is $100,000 – $120,000 depending on experience
