Plastics Labourer

Job details

Responsibilities:

Assist with the production of plastic products in accordance with quality and production standards.
Load raw materials into machinery and remove finished products from production lines.
Inspect products for defects, damage, or quality issues and report concerns to supervisors.
Package, label, and palletize finished goods for storage or shipment.
Operate basic production equipment and machinery as trained.
Maintain accurate production and quality records as required.
Perform cleaning and housekeeping duties to keep work areas safe and organized.
Assist with machine changeovers and setup activities under supervision.
Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and manufacturing guidelines.
Use hand tools, measuring tools, and material handling equipment safely.

Requirements:

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stoop, kneel, bend and climb minimal, only as needed.
Ability to lift up to 42lbs
Line production is constant flow.
Ability to be on feet consistently 8 hours up to a 12 hours per scheduled shift
Walking during this standing time in work cell, continuous rotation based on area assigned.
Repetitive turning & twisting during production based on area assigned.
Reaching above shoulders, hand and wrist repetitive simple grasping to pick up drum, flip drum for stacking and unloading as needed when assigned this area.
Use of hands and fingers to perform job function with hand tools as needed up to full scheduled shift.
The ability to wear all required personal protective equipment for the position they are assigned to each day. This equipment can include some or all: hard hat, ear plugs, safety glasses, face shield, steel toed boots, and cut resistant gloves.
