We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bakery Assistant to oversee our bakery operations. The Bakery Assistant will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the bakery, ensuring high-quality products. Experience with making cakes, pastry's and cookies is a must.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of bakery operations, including production and quality control
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures to ensure consistent product quality.
- Prepare dough for cakes, bread, rolls and sweet goods such as biscuits & cookies.
- Operate all kitchen appliances (mixer, proofer, dough divider, oven)
- Previous experience in a leadership role in the food industry, preferably in a bakery.
- Strong knowledge of bakery operations, including baking techniques, food handling, and sanitation practices
