Summary
We are seeking Food Service Associate’s (Meal Preparation & Customer Service/ Occasional Deliveries) as well as Experienced Kitchen Staff to join our team at Chef on the Run in Victoria.
Responsibilities for Part Time Food Service Associate/Driver
- Assist in food preparation and handling to ensure quality standards are met.
- Provide excellent customer service both in-store and during delivery.
- Support the serving of meals and maintain cleanliness in food service areas.
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure hygiene and safety.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant or food service environments.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Knowledge of food safety standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Previous experience with food handling and preparation preferred.
Responsibilities for Part Time Kitchen Staff/Cook
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes using established recipes ensuring attention to detail
- Collaborate with the management team.
- Implement and maintain sanitation practices and procedures to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
- Respond to feedback from leadership team to make improvements to dishes to enhance customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- You must live in Victoria and able to work in Canada.
- We do not have a LMIA program.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a professional kitchen environment,
- Culinary degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and demands.
- Available Weekends (Saturday & Sunday) Daytime shifts only (no nights)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members
Pay: $18.25-$28.00 per hour
