Jumping Jellies is an innovative program, specializing in creating an inspiring environment for toddlers, preschoolers, school aged children and parents to exercise creativity through dance, movement and yoga! Jumping Jellies is an inclusive program that encourages all abilities of children! All Jumping Jellies staff are very talented and experienced individuals with a passion for teaching children.
Jumping Jellies is looking for a energetic, reliable, and experienced individual to teach dance and yoga classes. The successful candidate will go in to daycares, preschools, and elementary schools in Calgary and surrounding areas. This is a contract position during the day. Some weekend work may be available for birthday parties and community programs. Training and materials will be included.
Candidates should have:
-Education and experience working with children
-Some dance, yoga, or theatre experience
-Police/criminal record check
-First aid/CPR
-Music device apple or spotify
-Drivers license/ reliable vehicle
-3 references at the time of the interview
A preferred candidate will have:
-3 years or more working with children
-College/university degree
-Post secondary certifications
-child care certifications
