Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and bilingual Mandarin-speaking bank receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our clients and visitors. This role involves managing front desk operations, providing excellent customer service, and supporting administrative functions within our banking environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, proficiency in office software, and the ability to communicate effectively in both Mandarin and English. Responsibilities
- Greet clients and visitors warmly, ensuring a professional and welcoming atmosphere at all times
- Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls appropriately and taking detailed messages when necessary
- Assist clients with inquiries, providing information about banking services in Mandarin and English
- Handle data entry tasks accurately using software such as QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace
- Maintain organized filing systems for client records, documents, and correspondence
- Support administrative duties including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and preparing correspondence
- Perform clerical tasks such as photocopying, scanning, proofreading documents, and maintaining office supplies
- Support front desk operations by managing customer support inquiries and ensuring efficient workflow
- Ensure compliance with office procedures related to confidentiality and security protocols
Requirements
- Fluency in Mandarin and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages
- Proven experience in office administration or clerical roles; experience in banking or medical/dental office environments is a plus
- Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace, QuickBooks, and data entry tools
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills; experience handling multi-line phone systems preferred
- Ability to perform administrative tasks such as filing, proofreading, and managing schedules efficiently
- Professional appearance with strong organizational skills; ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Pay: $21.00-$22.00 per hour
