Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Estimator/ Bid & Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role is vital in preparing accurate project bids, coordinating project activities, and ensuring seamless communication between clients, subcontractors, and internal teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong construction estimating skills, project management experience, and proficiency with industry-standard software such as Bluebeam and HeavyBid. Duties
- Prepare detailed construction estimates by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and project requirements using tools like Bluebeam and HeavyBid.
- Develop comprehensive bid proposals, including pricing, labor, material costs, and schedule considerations.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to gather necessary information for accurate bidding and project planning.
- Review project scopes and specifications to ensure all aspects are accurately reflected in estimates and proposals.
- Assist in negotiation processes with clients and subcontractors to secure favorable terms while maintaining project profitability.
- Manage bid submissions, track deadlines, and ensure compliance with client requirements.
- Support project management activities by tracking project progress, budgets, and schedules post-award.
- Maintain organized records of all bids, contracts, change orders, and related documentation for future reference.
Skills
- Proficiency in construction estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials pricing, and labor costs.
- Excellent negotiation skills to facilitate favorable agreements with clients and subcontractors.
- Effective project management capabilities to coordinate multiple bids and projects simultaneously.
