About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated Visual Quality Inspector to join our team. This role requires an individual who can work effectively in a team environment while also working independently with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional attention to detail, strong observational skills, and a commitment to ensuring only conforming product is released to our customers. This position requires maintaining a clean and safe work area while performing physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough visual inspections of processed materials to verify product conformity.
- Verify that customer requirements, processing steps, and quality standards have been completed prior to product release.
- Identify, document, and communicate non-conforming product to the appropriate personnel.
- Verify product identification, traceability, packaging, and documentation prior to shipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.
- Help manage the final inspection area, providing training and guidance to other employees as required.
- Communicate effectively with the Shift Supervisor and Quality Supervisor and Quality Coordinator regarding product quality concerns and inspection findings.
- Complete inspection records and quality documentation accurately and legibly.
- Develop and follow standardized inspection routines to ensure consistent and complete product evaluations.
- Proactively recommend opportunities for continual improvement of inspection methods, product quality, and operational efficiency.
- Participate in regular team meetings focused on quality, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.
- Utilize inspection equipment, measuring devices, visual aids, and reference standards to support accurate inspection decisions.
- Handle customer products carefully to prevent damage during the inspection process.

- Ability to read and interpret work instructions, customer specifications, inspection criteria, and quality documentation.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while making consistent, objective quality decisions.
- Physical ability to perform job duties including bending, stooping, reaching, lifting, standing, and walking throughout the shift.
- Willingness to cross-train in multiple operations and inspection processes.
- Excellent attendance and reliability.strong sense of ownership, accountability, and commitment to product quality.
Pay: From $18.50 per hour
