Nelson Family Dental is a family‑owned general practice located in the beautiful mountain town of Nelson, British Columbia. We are seeking a full‑time Associate Dentist to join our friendly and collaborative team. Our practice is consistently busy, allowing a new associate to build a full schedule from day one. With limited specialists in the region, you will have the opportunity to perform a wide range of procedures and expand your clinical skills.
- Job Title: Associate Dentist
- Employment Type: Permanent, Full‑Time
- Schedule: Monday to Thursday
- Hours: 32–36 hours per week
- Compensation: 40% of production
- Relocation package can be considered for the right candidate
- Start Date: As soon as possible
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general dentistry services to patients of all ages
- Diagnose oral health conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Perform restorative, surgical, endodontic, and preventive procedures within scope of practice
- Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records
- Collaborate effectively with dental assistants, hygienists, and administrative staff
- Deliver patient‑centered care with professionalism, empathy, and strong communication
Requirements
- Eligible for licensure or currently licensed with the College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia (CDSBC)
- DDS/DMD degree from an accredited institution
- Strong clinical skills and commitment to high‑quality patient care
- Ability to work collaboratively in a small, team‑oriented environment
