Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for the food industry, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves overseeing daily restaurant operations, supervising staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining a welcoming environment for guests. Previous experience in restaurant management, food preparation, and team management is essential to succeed in this position.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth service flow and high-quality customer experiences
- Supervise and train staff members, including interviewing and onboarding new team members
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food handling procedures to maintain safety and quality standards
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers as needed
- Lead by example in providing excellent customer service and hospitality
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally
- Support kitchen staff with food industry best practices, including food safety and kitchen experience protocols
- Assist in scheduling shifts and managing team performance to foster a positive work environment
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or food service setting
- Strong knowledge of restaurant management, food safety, and hospitality standards
- Experience with food preparation, cooking, serving, and kitchen operations
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in hotel or barista roles is a plus but not required
- Food industry background including restaurant experience or food service expertise is preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead by example
- 7 days availability is a must.
- Friday and Saturday late night availability
