What is the opportunity?
RBC PH&N Investment Counsel (“RBC PH&N IC”) is one of Canada’s leading boutique investment counselling firms with investment professionals nationwide acting exclusively for high-net-worth clients and small business owners. We provide clients with discretionary investment management and privileged access to the expertise of our RBC Wealth Management Services team which includes highly accredited lawyers, accountants, and financial planning specialists.
As the Wealth Concierge, you will be responsible for supporting a team of established Investment Counsellors and their valued clients with concierge level service and coordination. You will possess a passion for service excellence with a focus on problem resolution and attention to detail, while coordinating with various department and internal partners.
What will you do?
Provide excellence in client service; by responding to all client inquiries, update client files as required and prepare client presentation material for wealth planning meetings.
Prepare all Annual Review Meeting material in advance.
Review Financial Plan, Will and Estate Plan and Insurance information prior to client presentation.
Utilize SalesForce when updating Wealth Planning items and my Discovery preparation.
Communicate with COI’s/CA’s/LLB’s etc.
Support advisory team and client through the wealth management process. Help gather relevant info, documents, and questionnaires. Enter data into specific applications (e.g., myGPS). Track progress and follow-up.
Establish and maintain strong working relationships with the partners, COI’s and other resources necessary to support the role and team in their daily operations.
Proactively assist with client management of appointments and scheduled meetings/calls
Assist the Investment Counsellors and the team where additional support is needed based on volume of administrative workflow and client confirmation transactions.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
University Degree
Successful completion of CSC (Canadian Securities Course)
CFP, PFP, or working towards either designation.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize urgent tasks efficiently
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Power Point)
Nice-to-have
- CIM Designation (Chartered Investment Management)

Compensation for this position (including salary and discretionary/variable payments) will be determined by factors, including but not limited to candidate's experience, skills, registration status, performance, individual goals, market conditions, and business needs.
Pay Range
The expected pay range for this position is:
$55,000.00 - $90,000.00
The pay range provided is for the primary work location referenced in the Additional Job Details section of this job posting. Pay ranges may differ based on location.
