Next Level Directional Drilling is looking for a Finance Coordinator who supports day-to-day financial operations by managing invoicing, tracking receivables, and ensuring timely and accurate payment processes. This role is responsible for maintaining organized financial records and coordinating billing and collections activities.
Core Responsibilities
- Prepare weekly estimates for submission and approval, including applicable holdbacks
- Send invoices and customer statements
- Manage accounts receivable and monitor outstanding balances
- Track and follow up on overdue invoices using internal tools
- Coordinate resolution of invoice discrepancies and support payment arrangements with customers
- Receive and process customer payments accurately and in a timely manner
- Enter and track invoice numbers across internal systems, spreadsheets, and project trackers
- Maintain and oversee the holdback tracker, including obtaining required approvals and generating corresponding invoices
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data across systems and records
- Prepare materials and support monthly shareholder meetings
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, or a business related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience in an accounting or finance-related role
- Understanding of the construction industry is an asset
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to work independently
- Proficiency with accounting software (Quickbooks)
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including working with spreadsheets and formulas
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
