NVIT anticipates the need for one full-time, ongoing Community Education Liaison at our Merritt campus and invites applications from qualified candidates. The support staff position will start as soon as a suitable candidate is available.
Position Summary:
Reporting to the Manager, Community Education, the Community Education Liaison is responsible for administrative and program/course delivery vision and assisting with and providing support for all activities of the Community Education department. Duties include preparing proposals and ensuring timely submissions, assisting with coordinating projects/program delivery schedules including detailed course sections, coordinating travel arrangements, assisting with faculty and student needs, and responding to general programming information inquiries. Major role in coordinating the trades trailers and mobile labs for several programs.
Assisting with program delivery effectiveness by providing support in all areas, and problem-solving. The Community Ed Liaison handles multiple responsibilities, solves complex problems and is open to constant challenges and change in a team working environment.
