Kitchen Staff Required

We are hiring an entry-level part-time kitchen person who can work with minimal supervision and can multi-task by supporting our front counter staff from time to time. This position will also help to maintain the cleanliness of our facility.
Expectations/ Requirements
- Our facility serves patrons of all ages. Providing exceptional service is required, and expected, of all our staff.
- Individual will gain experience in all facets of kitchen duties, which includes prep work as well as cleaning and washing dishes.
- Ensure all items are produced and prepped quickly and efficiently with pride and attention to detail.
- Successful applicant will run the kitchen on their own after appropriate training is provided.
- Keep the work areas, utensils, equipment and kitchen clean and sanitized at all times.
- Restock items as needed.
- Perform any opening, closing and cleaning tasks as instructed.
- Follow safe food handling procedures at all times.
- A valid current food handling certificate is required.
- Experience with handling cash with a point of sale (POS) is an asset.
- Must be punctual and reliable.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Note that this position requires evening and weekend work normally averaging approximately 20 hours per week, but will consider more hours for the right candidate. Must be available for a minimum of two weekday evening shifts and one to two weekend shifts.
