This is a Senior Product Designer opportunity supporting a major refresh of the Wealth/Easy Trade platform at a leading financial institution. The team is small (approximately 10 people), and the successful candidate will be expected to work independently with minimal supervision, owning projects end-to-end and driving work through ambiguity. The role requires both UX and visual design capabilities, with an emphasis on building and maintaining a robust Design System in Figma. This is an important, high-visibility project for the organization, with strong potential for long-term contract engagement.
- Design and create reusable components in Figma that can be used across the platform.

Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are technically feasible and align with the platform's needs and standards.

Perform Design QA on final product implementations to ensure adherence to design specifications.

Write and maintain clear, concise documentation to guide other designers in using the design system components effectively.

Publish and update design libraries in Figma to ensure that components are readily accessible for all team members.

Ensure that all new components meet WCAG standards for accessibility, promoting inclusivity and usability across the platform. Adhere to Accessibility and compliance at the device level (e.g., updating or creating components to work with Apple's new Liquid Glass).
- Proficiency with Figma (minimum 4 years)

Senior level (minimum 5 years UX and UI experience) with strong expertise in building Design Systems and Figma to support the platform

Previous experience building a design system and components (leading/owning and identifying needs, being proactive, identifying risks and mitigating, collaborating closely with developers in that work, etc.)

Detailed oriented, expertise designing interaction and visual UI states for native mobile iOS and Android components

Comprehensive understanding of interaction and UI design

Good fundamental understanding in Responsive Web design and Mobile Application design (Android and iOS)

Ability to communicate ideas to a diverse audience and constructively integrate feedback

A conceptual thinker with proven problem-solving skills

Strong portfolio that showcases your understanding of user-centred design

Proficiency with Adobe's Creative Suite (including After Effects to create animation, Adobe Illustrator to develop custom illustration (2D and 3D), and InDesign for page layout) as well as industry-leading interface design tools such as Figma
