Job Summary
Pizza 73 is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper to support our busy restaurant team. The ideal candidate will assist with food preparation, cooking, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. This role is essential in ensuring efficient service and high-quality food for our customers, providing valuable experience in the food industry and restaurant operations.
Duties
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning
- Support cooking processes by following recipes and safety guidelines
- Help with food handling to ensure proper storage and sanitation standards are maintained
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts
- Support serving staff by preparing ingredients for orders and ensuring timely delivery of meals
- Follow food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure quality standards are met
- Assist with meal preparation during peak hours to ensure smooth restaurant operation
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and basic cooking techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude
- Willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation and service
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting or moving kitchen supplies
