Position: Senior Barista
Employment Type: Full-time or Part-time
Location: Bedford, Nova Scotia
Start Date: Within the Next Few Weeks
Compensation: $18.20/hour + Shared Tips + Staff Discount
About You
- Minimum 1 year of barista experience in a café or coffee shop environment
- Strong knowledge of espresso preparation, milk texturing, and specialty coffee beverages
- Friendly, professional, and customer-focused
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills
- Reliable, organized, and able to perform well under pressure
- Available for morning, afternoon, and weekend shifts
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience is considered an asset
Your Responsibilities
- Prepare high-quality espresso-based beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with consistency and attention to detail
- Deliver outstanding customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for every guest
- Support daily café operations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization
- Assist with training and mentoring new team members
- Ensure product quality, presentation, and adherence to café standards
- Accurately process orders and payments using the POS system
- Work collaboratively with the bakery and café team to ensure smooth operations
