About the Role:
- Immediate Opportunity!
- Location: Amherst, NS In-Person.
- Duration: 3 Months Contract with possibilities of extension
- Day Shifts - 9:00 AM- 5:00PM
- 20$/ hour
- Paid Weekly on Fridays
Qualifications:
- High School diploma, or equivalent
- Requires effective communication skills and strong customer service abilities to interact with multiple departments
- Requires strong organizational and time management skills
- Requires the candidate to be detail oriented, self-motivated, and resourceful. Able to work within groups and on their own
- Requires skills in Microsoft Excel, Work and Outlook
Job Responsibilities:
- Performs clerical and administrative tasks involving data entry and emails as required
- Processes fully released purchase orders
- Monitor Vendor shipments and receipts to ensure material arrives within the prescribed parameters established; expedites customer orders when required
- Investigates pricing issues and errors on invoices
- Assists with the maintenance of Material and Vendor databases
- Investigates vendor incidents; provides resolutions to incidents and processes Vendor returns when required
- Preparing reports to support the purchasing function
- Enters Purchase Orders, Receipts and STOs for Contract Manufacturing services
- Enters order acknowledgements and follows up on scheduled deliveries
