Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on arena equipment, including mechanical systems, electrical panels, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Conduct repairs using welding techniques and mechanical knowledge to ensure equipment operates efficiently.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track maintenance activities, schedule tasks, and document repairs.
- Read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues accurately.
- Maintain facilities by addressing plumbing, HVAC, lighting, and other infrastructure needs promptly.
- Lead small teams or supervise maintenance tasks to ensure safety protocols are followed during all operations.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding quickly to facility issues reported by staff or event organizers, ensuring minimal disruption.
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience or leadership skills in a facilities maintenance or manufacturing environment.
- Strong electrical experience with knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and schematics interpretation.
- Hands-on welding skills combined with mechanical knowledge essential for repair work.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance tracking and reporting.
- Experience in facilities maintenance, troubleshooting electrical systems, or manufacturing environments preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrated ability to read technical schematics and perform complex repairs using mechanical tools.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and general building infrastructure.
