Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and reliable Mobile Security Patrol Officer to ensure the safety and security of designated premises. This role involves patrolling assigned areas, and preventing loss or unauthorized access. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observational skills, and a background in law enforcement or security operations. Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned locations on foot or via vehicle to monitor for suspicious activity or security breaches.
- Lock and unlock the assigned location as per requirement.
- Observe and report any unusual behavior, safety hazards, or security incidents promptly.
- Implement loss prevention strategies by identifying vulnerabilities and deterring theft or vandalism.
- Respond swiftly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed.
- Maintain detailed logs of patrol activities, incidents, and observations for record-keeping purposes.
- Enforce property rules and regulations in a professional manner while maintaining a visible security presence.
Experience
- Prior experience in law enforcement, private security, surveillance, or loss prevention is highly desirable.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to detect potential security threats quickly.
- Excellent communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and effectively.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
- Valid driver’s license is beneficial for patrolling larger areas efficiently. Requirements
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
- Ability to acquire private security license with Department of Justice
- Clean criminal record
- Reliable transportation is required
- Must be 19 years of age or older
