Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Construction Labourer to join our team and support various construction projects. This role involves assisting skilled tradespeople and performing physically demanding tasks to ensure the successful completion of building and renovation projects. Duties
- Assist with the use of hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment to perform tasks such as framing, demolition, and material handling.
- Support carpentry activities, including measuring, cutting, and assembling materials according to project specifications.
- Support the setup and cleanup of job sites, maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries on site.
Experience
- Prior experience in construction or related trades is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
- Familiarity with hand tools, construction techniques, and safety procedures is advantageous.
- Experience reading blueprints or schematics is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
- Candidates with skills in carpentry will be highly valued.
- No formal experience required; we welcome individuals eager to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry.
