Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Addiction Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide specialized support to individuals struggling with substance use within a clinical setting. This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized treatment plans, monitor client progress, and promote recovery through evidence-based interventions. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients addiction history, mental health status, and social circumstances.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions focused on addiction recovery and related issues.
- Collect and analyze data related to patient progress and treatment outcomes for continuous improvement.
- Educate clients and their families about addiction, coping strategies, and available resources.
- Maintain detailed documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with confidentiality standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field; licensure or certification as required.
- Experience working with children and adolescents in clinical or educational settings is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of research methodologies related to addiction treatment and client care practices.
- Strong case management skills with the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary services effectively.
- Experience with data collection and analysis to monitor treatment effectiveness.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with patients of diverse backgrounds and collaborating with healthcare teams.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations professionally while demonstrating empathy and patience.
