6ix Build Interiors provides full service interior renovations for the residential market. We provide work for bathrooms, basements, kitchens, full house and more spread across GTA. We focus on quality & high level of service for our clients.
We are seeking a General Skilled Laborer who will skilled in almost all aspects of interior renovation work from demo/rough framing to finish flooring, drywall, paint etc. We are only seeking individuals who are experienced and require no training. The individual will be self sufficient with a working vehicle and majority of tools to complete any interior renovation job.
We are seeking committed individuals who will be committed to long term goals and eventually profit sharing.
Experience/Requirements:
- 10+ years (full time) in RESIDENTIAL construction/renovations in Ontario
- 5+ years taping and drywall a plus.
- 5+ years tile setting a plus.
- Able to carry up to 50 lbs.
- Driver's license and vehicle a must (truck preferred).
- Own set of basic hand tools and majority of most commonly used power tools.
- Own mitre saw & table saw.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Provide general support to the Owner/Project Manager.
- This is a physically demanding position. You will perform tasks DAILY such as demolition, framing, basic electrical, basic plumbing, basic hvac, drywall boarding, taping, patching, subfloor repair, painting, all types of flooring, baseboards, jamb extensions, trim work, doors, floor protection.
- Individual will perform any and all trades associated with residential renovations.
- Experience in cleaning up job sites with the use of brooms, vacuums & microfiber cloths. All applicants will be required to be sweeping, vacuuming and cleaning everyday.
- Installation of floor protection (Ramboard or Floorotex).
- Experience in dust containment.
- Pick up & delivery of construction materials.
- Professional service & positive attitude provided to sub trades and clients.
- Problem solving on all stages of residential renovations.
- Knowledge of general and specific types of construction materials to finish materials.
We pay on a regular bi-weekly schedule and as independent operators (must have own company name and HST).
Compensation: $30-$50.
Start Date: Immediately/Flexible
Hours: Full-time and flexible hours.
